NEWARK, N.J. – The NJIT women's volleyball team fell in its weekend finale to New Hampshire on Sunday, 3-0. The Wildcats claimed the match, 25-18, 25-20, 25-17.
The Wildcats came out of the gates strong to take the opening set, but NJIT was able to battle early in set two to keep things tight. UNH would use a 4-0 scoring burst to pull ahead in the second set, 18-13, maintaining its lead en route to a set two win. The Wildcats would then rally back from an early deficit in set three to take the match.
Cece Marino picked up her fifth double-double of the season with 13 assists and 12 digs.
Ilayda Dincer and
Mariana Cova each registered eight kills, while both chipped in defensively as well with seven and nine digs, respectively.

NJIT heads back on the road next Friday as they head to Baltimore to face UMBC at 6 p.m.
