STATEN ISLAND, NY --- The NJIT men's and women's track teams took part in the Fastrack National Invitational Friday evening at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex.

The Highlanders combined for nine Top-10 finishes, with Hamza Qureshi earning two for the men (60 and 200 Meters) and the women picking up two in the High Jump (Miku Okada and Sydne Nance).

HIGHLANDERS TOP 10 PERFORMANCES

• 60 Meters: Hamza Qureshi - 2nd (7.20)
• Pole Vault: Brandon Kong - 2nd (4.10m / 13-5.25)
• 200 Meters: Hamza Qureshi - 3rd (22.51)
• 400 Meters: Matt Bacchi - 10th (50.73)
• 400 Meters Invite: Jacob Leigh - 10th (49.87)
• 60 Hurdles: Thomas Van Saders - 10th (9.44)
   
• High Jump: Miku Okada - 2nd (1.60m / 5-3.00); Sydne Nance - 4th (1.55m / 5-1.00)
• 200 Meters: Caitlin Hambor - 7th (26.40)
