Biography
2019-20: Competed in seven indoor events (outdoor season canceled due to COVID-19 public health crisis)...set a NJITÂ record in the 300 meters (42.72) at the Wagner Seahawk Shootout on Dec. 13...Ran with the 4x400 Relay team that scored at the ASUN Indoor Championships on Feb. 28 (5th, 4:07.43)...also scored with the 4x400 at the Metropolitan Championships (8th, 4:13.34)...other top marks include season bests in the 400 at ASUNs (59.09 on Feb. 28), 200 at Fastrack National Invite (26.40 on Feb. 14), 60 meters at Wagner (8.20), and Long Jump at the Spartan Invite (4.89m / 16-0.50 on Jan. 10).
Prior To NJIT: Competed at Southern Regional for head coach Jason Church...named team MVP 2018-19...Atlantic City Press First Team All-Around selection in 2019...earned a Shore Conference Athlete of the Week honor as a senior in 2019...helped lead Southern to numerous Ocean County, Shore Conference, and South Jersey Group 4 titles along with a Group 4 State Championship...four-year Scholar-Athlete.
Personal: Caitlin Rose Hambor...daughter of Shelley and Ed Hambor...intends to major in Business.
