DELAND, FL – NJIT women's volleyball lost its final match of the season at Atlantic Sun Conference opponent Stetson 3-0 (15-25, 18-25, 19-25) on Sunday.

The Hatters improve to a 10-17 overall record and a 4-9 conference record and will face No. 3 seed Kennesaw State in the first round of the A-Sun championships.

The Highlanders finish with a 6-25 overall record, including 1-13 in the A-Sun. The team's 3-2 victory over Stetson in Newark on October 4, was the first win in A-Sun conference play for any team from NJIT, which began conference competition for the first time in 2015-16.

The most even-played set was the third, but the Hatters stayed on top 25-19 to clinch the match
