Fairleigh Dickinson women's volleyball team scored a 3-0 win over visiting NJIT Wednesday night at the Rothman Center.
Knights Lauren Boothby led a 30-24, 30-20, 3-22 with a match-high 16 kills and four total blocks
NJIT's Agnieszka Pregowska and Katrina Hornstein notched 11 kills apiece, while Erica Schultz had 29 assists. Freshman Baaba Hughes, who was one kill shy a double-double collected nine kills and 11 digs. Junior Kubra Tanrikulu added six.
On the defensive end, the Highlanders were led by sophomore libero Sabrina Baby who dug-up a team-high 13 digs. Hughes followed with 11 while Hornstein recorded eight.
For Fairleigh Dickinson, Megan Philbrick added 13 kills while Rebecca Tenney notched 12. Ruth Levy piled up a match-high 30 assists and three service aces.
NJIT, which will play its last regular season home game on Saturday, November 10 at 7:00 p.m. in the Estelle and Zoom Fleisher Athletic Center will honor its three seniors in pre-game ceremonies.
The seniors that will be making their final home game appearance will be -- Rebecca Wilkinson, Ashley Craig and Kasia Rusin.
