Biography

2021-22: Did not compete.

2020-21: Team did not compete this season (COVID-19 opt-outs).

2019-20: Went 6-5 overall in singles action (4-2 in duals) before season shortened due to COVID-19 public health crisis...also went 0-2 in tournament doubles action.

2018-19: Went 7-5 overall (1-2 ASUN) in singles and 2-4 overall in doubles action in her first year at NJIT...posted a perfect 4-0 mark at the No. 3 singles position...top victories came against Wagner (vs Emma Reeves in singles | 6-3, 6-0; with Adara Omar vs Pinzariu / D'Alessandro | 6-1)

2017-18 (Sacramento State): Went 7-7 overall and 6-3 in Big Sky singles in her debut season with the Hornets...Played at No. 4, 5, and 6...all seven of her match wins came in the No. 6 singles position, where she was 7-4...finished 0-2 at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 5...Won Big Sky matches at No. 6 singles at Montana, at Montana State, vs. Eastern Washington, at Weber State, at Idaho State, and vs. Portland State...Won her last four singles matches of the season, her longest win streak of the year...Picked up her first career singles in on March 17 at Montana in straight sets, 6-3, 7-5...was the clinching match in a 4-3 win...Went 3-13 over and 2-6 in Big Sky doubles...Played at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles, going 2-6 at No. 3...Played with five different doubles partners over the course of the season, including seven matches with Frana Ugarkovic (2-3 overall, 2-2 conference)...also paired with Sofi Wicker (0-1), Ana Loaiza Esquivias (1-2, 0-1), Sofia Gulnova (0-2), and Maria Gonzalez (0-3, 0-2).

Prior to NJIT: Attended Redbridge International Academy in Bangalore, India, graduating in 2017...was ranked the 52nd Best National Junior...played for coach Praveen Kumar...won the AITA womens doubles in 2016 and finished as the runner up the following year...also attended Jain Heritage School from 2013-15...was the winner of the Jain Academy for Sporting Excelence (JASE) Cup Girls Open tennis in both 2013 and 2014...was named Sports Achiever in the Jain Heritage School for tennis in 2014...was an interschool U-19 CBSE South Zone tennis finalist.

Personal: Daughter of Vikas and Leena Dhar ... outside of tennis, received a Trinity College (UK) Certification for Theater and finished second in both the chemistry formula puzzle and in Poetry Writing at the Jain Heritage School (2014) ... plans to major in Theater and Arts Technology at NJIT.
