2024: Played in all 17 matches (one of four players to do so) with 11 starts...scored her first career game-winning goal against Mount St. Mary's on Aug. 25...logged an assist against Saint Peter's on Aug. 29...serves as the SAAC president for the 2024-25 school year.

2023: Appeared in 16 matches (five starts)...logged first career points with a goal and assist in NJIT's 7-0 win over Saint Peter's on Aug. 20...added the game-tying assist against UAlbany on Sept. 17.

2022: Played in a pair of games in her first season (Seton Hall on Aug. 25 and Hartford on Sept. 8).

Prior To NJIT: Competed at John Handley for head coach Haleigh Echard and Loudoun Soccer ECNL for coach Dave Bucciero…Two-year varsity captain…named team Offensive Player of the Year and Northwestern District 2nd team member as a junior after a 6 goal, 4 assist season…Northwestern District First Team as a freshman after posting 18 goals and, 6 assists…VYSA State and Regional ODP team member…championships include VYSA Region Champions, Northwestern District Champions, VHSL BRYSA Cup Champions…also two-time VHSL Regional semifinalists…academically, four-year High Honor Roll member and Student Government Association member…NHSCA Academic All-American. National Honors Society member and Heisman Scholarship school winner.

Personal: Mikayla Noel Balio…daughter of Cosmo and Michelle Balio…intends to major in biomedical engineering.
