Biography

2023: Named to the America East All-Championships team...Appeared in all 19 matches, making 13 starts...second on team in points (10), assists (4) and goals (3; tied)...scored game-winners against LIU (Aug. 31; first career PK goal) and in the comeback win at UMBC (Sept. 28)...also netted NJIT's lone goal in its America East quarterfinal at UMass Lowell on Oct. 30...added assists in the LIU and UMBC games, and against GW (Oct. 4) and Bryant (Oct. 12)...ended year with 12 career goals, tied with former Highlander Kori Washington for second all-time the NJIT Division I era (since 2006).

2022: Saw action in 18 of 19 matches (nine starts)...tied for the team lead in goals (3) and led the squad in points (7)...scored her first goal of the year against New Hampshire on Sept. 25...added three points (1 G, 1 A) in a 4-0 win over Delaware State on Oct. 7...logged the eventual game-winner against Vermont on Oct. 23.

2021: Appeared in all 19 contests, making 15 starts...finished the season second on the team in goals (3) and points (8)...named America East Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 7 after a five-point performance (2 G, 1 A) against Saint Peter's on Sept. 4.

2020: Competed in all nine games with five starts...scored NJIT's loan goal at Binghamton on Apr. 4...Season played in Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

2019: Competed in 14 contests with one start at La Salle (Aug. 29)...tied for third on the team with two goals, one assist and five total points...netted her points in back to back games against Rider on Sept. 5 (1 G, 1 A) and at Iona on Sept. 8 (1 A).

Prior to NJIT: A top 20 all-State selection, Chant finished her career scoring 82 goals and 54 assists at Morris Catholic High School. ...Chant netted 27 goals and 14 assists as a junior, guiding Morris Catholic to a 19-4 overall record and 12-0 conference mark. ...2018 All-American Preseason Nominee, was a first-team all-Conference, all-County and all-State honoree, highlighted by earning a spot on the all-Region team. ...the midfielder from Boonton, NJ, played for the Cedar Stars Academy DA
