Scott Waddell joined the NJIT women’s soccer coaching staff in Spring 2014, coming on as an assistant coach after four seasons at Columbia University.
A former captain on the Columbia University men's soccer team, Waddell began his college coaching career in 2010 with the Columbia women’s soccer staff.
Waddell, a four-year player with the Columbia Lions, played professionally for Pulau Penang FC (2008) and Real Mona FC (2009).
He is the director at the NYC Soccer Academy and assistant coach of the U17 ENYSSA Olympic Development Program in New York. He served as head coach from 2008-2009 for the Elmont Rush Girls U13 soccer club.
A graduate from Columbia University, Waddell graduated with a bachelor degree in political science.
Scott currently holds a NSCAA National Diploma and US Soccer USSF "C" License.
He resides in New York, NY.
