2017-18: NJIT's recipient of the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) Woman of the Year award ... Garcia, a four-year member of the NJIT women's fencing team, has been named to the Dean's List every semester (seven) and has held a 4.0 GPA in five-out-of-seven semesters at NJIT.  The senior from Madrid, Spain, is a Business Management major, with a concentration in Finance and minor in Web and Information Systems.  Garcia holds a 3.975 GPA.
...Garcia is the Founder and President of the NJIT Investment Club, instrumental in getting the business school to acquire and use the Bloomberg Finance terminals, launched a student-managed investment fund and is a member of the CFA Research Challenge NJIT Team. She posted a team-best 14-2 overall mark at the Philadelphia Invitational and most recently went 12-3 at the Eric Sollee Invitational.

2016-17: Finished 19th overall in women's epee at the NCAA Fencing Championships hosted by Notre Dame. ... went 9-for-23 overall with three more wins in the final two rounds. ... at the 2017 NCAA Regionals, Garcia seeded fifth, earned a bye in the first round and finished with a 6-4 overall record finishing 13th overall on the epee strip. ...combined for a 24-5 overall record, including 11 wins at the Elite Penn Invitational.  Garcia went 8-0 at the NJIT Invitational with victories against William & Mary, Navy, and Army.

2015-16: Recipient of the 2016 Elite 90 award for NCAA Division I Women's Fencing. ...a business major who carries a 4.0 grade point average for the fourth straight semester.  With 52 credits earned, the sophomore earns the top academic achievement out of 144 participants competing at the NCAA Fencing Championships. ...In women's epee competition at the championships, Garica finished 19th.  Last season, Garcia became the first female fencer and newest NJIT All-American, to compete in the National Championship, earning a second-place finish. ...This season, Garcia placed first in the women's epee competition at the 2016 NCAA Regionals, receiving a bye in the first round and went 5-0 in the second.  She tallied a 3-2 mark and 8-2 overall record in the final round, giving the sophomore a first-place finish. ...At the FDU Invitational, Garcia recorded a 13-4, record while posting an impressive14-3 mark at the DeCuccio Duals hosted by Norte Dame (January 16).  She guided the Highlander epee squad to wins over Haverford (5-4), MIT (6-3) Stevens (5-4) and Brown (6-3).  The sophomore went undefeated against MIT and Brown while going 2-1 against Brandeis and Boston College.
