New Jersey Institute of Technology Athletics

Camryn Johnson joined the NJIT women’s basketball staff as Assistant Coach/Director of Basketball Operations in July 2023 after serving as a Graduate Assistant at The George Washington University for two seasons (2021-22; 2022-23).

Johnson earned her Masters of Science in Sports Management from George Washington in May 2023 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Francis Marion University in May 2021.

A four-year letterwinner, Johnson played three seasons at Francis Marion (2019-21) and one season at University of Louisiana Monroe (2017-18).

At Francis Marion, Johnson appeared in 65 games, including 30 starts for the Patriots. She is a three-time FMU Academic Honor Roll honoree (2019-21) and was named to the 2021 Peach Conference All-Academic Team. 

Johnson played at Elizabeth Seton High School in Bladensburg, Maryland and during her senior campaign was selected a McDonald’s All-American nominee, earned All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference Honorable Mention recognition and was selected to play in the Buffalo Wild Wings High School All-America game.
