Biography
2022: Finished her career as one of the best goalkeepers in program history...added five solo shutouts in 2022 to push her program record to 19...ended her career in the top 10 nationally and third all-time at NJIT in career saves (330)...This season, Saylor finished in the top five in the America East in saves per game (5.40, 1st), goals against average (1.103, 2nd), shutouts (5, 3rd), shutouts per game (.333, 3rd), and saves (81, 4th) while also posting a career high and-conference-leading 14 saves against Drexel on August 28...named AE Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 29 after combining for 17 saves in shutout draws against Seton Hall and Drexel...academically, was named College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District.
2021: Honored by the New Jersey Association of Intercollegiate Athletics for Women (NJAIAW) as NJIT's Woman of the Year. ...in three seasons as the Highlanders' primary keeper, the South Park, PA native has started all 44 games she has played holds the program record for career shutouts (14) and single season shutouts (America East leading nine in 2021, tied with Amelia Sapirman). ...has earned conference honors in two leagues (Second Team America East, 2021, All-Freshman and All-Tournament ASUN, 2019) and was named America East Defensive Player of the Week twice in her career (Oct. 18, 2021; Mar. 2, 2021 - 2020 season). ...Behind Saylor's leadership of the NJIT defensive unit, the Highlanders earned the No. 3 seed in the 2021 America East Tournament and hosted the first home league tournament contest since NJIT joined the conference in July 2020...also named to the 2021 America East All-Academic team.
2020: Started eight of nine NJIT games in goal...logged 46 saves and a 1.79 GAA...named America East Defensive Player of the Week on Mar. 2 after a four-save shutout of Wagner on Feb. 28...Season played in Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.
2019: Named to the ASUN All-Freshman team in her first full season as the starting goalkeeper...also named to the ASUN All-Tournament team after making 13 saves in the Highlanders' two games...named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week on Aug. 26 after playing into double overtime in her first two starts against UMBC and at Maryland...started all but one of NJIT's 18 contests, ending the season as the only ASUN keeper to record over 100 saves (league-leading 101)...top five in ASUN in goals allowed (18; 4th), goals against average (1.02; 4th), save percentage (.849; 2nd), and shutouts (four; t-5th)...set career high with ten saves against North Florida
