Biography

2021: Started all 17 of her appearances in her final season...put away the game-winning goal that gave NJIT a 1-0 win over two-time defending champion Stony Brook on September 30.

2020: Started all nine games for NJIT...Season played in Spring 2021 due to COVID-19.

2019: Started all 18 contests for the Highlanders.

2018: Played in 11 matches.

2017: The freshman was one of three Highlanders to play and start in all 17 matches. … notched her first collegiate goal in NJIT’s 2-1 loss to Lafayette on August 23. ... ASUN All-Freshman team. ... Female Athlete Newcomer of the Year by NJIT Athletics.

Prior to NJIT: Yasmeen Malik, a midfielder/defender from Langhorne, PA, joins the Highlanders after attending George School in Newton, Pennsylvania.  Malik was named Friend’s School All-League and Bucks County Golden second team as a freshman and junior (2014 and 2016) and earned Honorable Mention as a sophomore (2015).. ... played club for FC Bucks, who were State Cup Champions and NPL semifinalist in 2015.
