Biography

2012: Hershfield, the Highlanders senior midfielder from Vancouver, British Columbia, tabbed GWC first-team honors. Meryl appeared in every match since stepping foot on the field at NJIT. She ranks fourth all-time and in the NJIT Division 1 era with 73 career matches. This season, Meryl has appeared in every match while notching a goal against Lafayette in a 1-1 double overtime tie on October 23. For Meryl's career, she is tied fourth all-time with eight career assists and holds the D1 career record for assists with eight. ... earned GWC All-Academic honors for the third consecutive year.
