At NJIT ... 2008: Welter, a senior co-captain, recorded double-figures in 19 out of 27 games notching a season-high 24 kills in the quarterfinals of the Eastern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association against Princeton on April 19. He was second on the team with 329 kills (3.50), 32 service aces (0.34) and 163 digs (1.73). 

2007: Co-captain ... EIVA all-Academic ... led the defensive side with 211 digs (2.32 pg; tied for 12th in the nation) ...after playing the first 11 matches at libero, he notched a season-high 21 kills against Harvard on March 9.

2006: EIVA all-East second team ... 2006 EIVA all-Academic ... ranked 15th in the nation, with 4.22 kills pg, third in aces (.519) and 15th in ppg with 5.00. 

2005: led the nation in aces per game (0.86) and was 14th in kills pg (4.31). ... led the team in kills with 336 (4.31 pg), service aces 67 (0.86 pg) and digs 159 (2.04 pg). 

Prior to NJIT: Five-time state champion with the club team Barao Ceval. ... three-time Santa Catarina state All-Star ... U-17 team finished third in the South Brazilian League. 

Personal: Eduardo Welter ... son of Luiz and Nilza Welter ... enrolled in NJIT[apos]s Albert Dorman Honors College majoring in management ... born 3/19/84 in Tangará, Brazil.
