NEWARK, N.J. - Jason Ballen earned medalist honors at the Penn Relays at Franklin Field in Philadelphia, finishing fifth in the javelin with a throw of 59.24m. It marks the second straight season with a Penn Relays medalist for the Highlanders. NJIT also competed at the TCNJ Lions Invitational.

The Highlanders recorded four personal-bests and six top five marks in program history over the weekend.

Gabriel Truehart,
Lossenie Fofana, and
Robbie Tormo posted a season-best 4x400m relay time of 3:14.90 at the Penn Relays, which is the third-best in school history and ranks third in the America East.

Raegan Bossard recorded a season-best triple jump of 11.78m at the Penn Relays, which is the second-best in program history and ranks fourth in the America East.

Zaidah Lightener finished sixth in the long jump, jumping 5.77m at the Penn Relays.

Sanai Jenkins ran a season-best 400m hurdles time of 1:03.28 to finish fourth at the TCNJ Lions Invitational, ranking fifth in the America East.
