Newark, NJ - The NJIT men's basketball team wraps up its regular season on Saturday when it looks to complete a season sweep against Kennesaw State.

Watch Game Live on ESPN+
The game will be streamed live on ESPN+.  Nathan McCreary will handle the play-by-play, while Terrance Ross will provide the color commentary.

A simple way to find ESPN+ is on NJIT's official athletics website, www.njithighlanders.com. Near the middle of the home page under the headlines section, an upcoming events calendar lists scheduled NJIT contests. After finding the event, click the camera icon to the left of the event listing. That brings you to an ESPN+ portal where you can access the desired program.

Welcome Home
Saturday's game will be a homecoming for Georgia natives San Antonio Brinson and Zach Cooks. Both NJIT juniors were born and raised in the Peach State.

Iron Man
Shyquan Gibbs will play in his 124th career game on Saturday and will own sole possession of the program's games played record. Tim Coleman, Gibbs' former teammate and fellow Saint Anthony High School alum, previously held the record with 123 games played. Saturday should also mark Gibbs' 106-straight start, which is the longest active streak in the ASUN and ranks 13th in the nation.

Number One
Cooks leads the ASUN in scoring at 19.5 ppg, more than two points higher than any other player in the conference.

All-Time Series
Saturday's meeting is the 10th all-time between the  Highlanders and Owls, with the previous nine coming in ASUN action over the last five years. NJIT leads the series 6-3, as the teams split last season's series and the Highlanders took the first of two matchups earlier this season in Newark.

Last Three Meetings:
1/18/20: NJIT 66, KSU 48 -- Newark, NJ
2/9/19: KSU 63, NJIT 62 -- Kennesaw, GA
1/5/19: NJIT 72, KSU 52 -- Newark, NJ

Last Time Out vs. KSU
The NJIT men's basketball team won its third-straight ASUN Conference game, defeating visiting Kennessaw State 66-48 at the WEC on Saturday.

The win marked the first time the Highlanders (6-12, 3-2 ASUN) have held a Division I opponent to less than 50 points since a 55-44 victory over UMass-Lowell on December 7, 2013. Kennesaw State (1-17, 0-5 ASUN) shot just 30.9% (17-for-55) in the loss on Saturday.

"I really liked our effort defensively, especially in the first half," said Head Coach Brian Kennedy. "That team is much better than their record shows; they are a dangerous group."

Up Next
The Highlanders open up the ASUN Tournament on Tuesday with a quarterfinal matchup at top-seeded Liberty in Lynchburg, VA.
