NEWARK, N.J. --- The NJIT Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), in junction with the NJIT Media Relations and Digital Strategy office, is proud to presents a brand-new video series: TECH TALKS.

TECH TALKS is a series focused on highlighting Highlander student-athletes and discussing different topics that are important to student-athletes.

What topic could be more universal to start the series with than sports injuries? Every athlete has gone through a physical hardship, some more than others. The student-athletes we have featured in this chapter have gone through and bounced back from a major sports injury.

We follow their initial diagnosis, surgery, recovery, and the valuable life lessons they learned through their struggles.

The first four episodes will feature the following Highlander student-athletes and are scheduled to air weekly throughout January:

- Lizzy Wolfe (Women's Soccer): January 10 @ 9 a.m. | LINK
- Johnny Madaras (Men's Lacrosse): January 17 @ 9 a.m. | LINK
- Chinyere Chambers (Women's Soccer): January 24 @ 9 a.m. | LINK
- Alli Regan (Women's XC/TF): January 31 @ 9 a.m. | LINK

The goals for this series are: to delve into the hardships, triumphs, and stories of NJIT student-athletes; to present key takeaways that fellow and future Highlanders can learn from; and to cultivate a community that supports and cares for one another.
