NEWARK, NJ--The NJIT men's basketball team will be featured on NBC Channel 4 New York Wednesday, January 9, at 6pm on the sports segment of the news.
Bruce Beck, the lead Sports Anchor for NBC 4 NY, visited the campus of NJIT Wednesday afternoon to cover the historic start of the Highlanders; interviewing third-year men's basketball head coach

Abdul Lewis and sophomores
Zach Cooks and
San Antonio Brinson.
The Highlanders (13-3) are off to the best start in their Division-I history (13 seasons) and since the program opened 13-1 in 1994-95 – a season in which it went 28-2 and advanced to the NCAA Division-III Elite Eight.
