NEWARK, NJ—NJIT dropped its second straight 4-3 decision Saturday against visiting Drexel at The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.

NJIT (1-3) registered three wins in singles action while Drexel swept doubles action and posted three wins in singles play.

Reigning ASUN Conference Player of the Week Advaita Saravanan defeated Salma Ziouti in a three-set tilt, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3.

NJIT's Rafaella Sampaio defeated Mya Fuentes 6-3, 4-6, (13-11) at fifth singles while Alba Rosas Garcia notched an 8-6 decision over Anisiya Simpson.

The Highlanders will return to action on Friday, hosting Seton Hall at 5pm in The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
