NEWARK, NJ—NJIT women's soccer will open ASUN Conference play on Saturday at 1pm when the Highlanders travel to Spartanburg, SC and visit USC Upstate at County University Soccer Stadium.

Upstate is 0-8-2 following a 2-1 home loss to Presbyterian College on September 16. Delaney Bussey scored her first collegiate goal in the 21st minute before the Blue Hose tied the game in the 28th minute. A goal in the 76th minute by Samantha Fink proved to be the difference-maker.
