NEWARK, NJ—The NJIT women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 decision to No. 53 Stony Book Saturday afternoon at The Naimoli Family Athletic and Recreational Facility.
The Seawolves improved to 8-1 on the season sweeping the doubles and singles contests from the Highlanders.
NJIT's closest match on the day came at second singles, with
Nathalie Habegger and Kristina Vozniak. Habegger kept the first frame close, falling 7-5, and dropped a 6-2 decision in the second frame.
NJIT will return to action on April 8 at 3pm when the Highlanders visit St. John's.
