HILTON HEAD ISLAND, SC—The NJIT women's tennis team dropped a 6-1 decision to Cornell Thursday, wrapping up the team's annual Spring Break trip at the Hilton Head Island Beach and Tennis Resort.

Cornell, which has won all 11 of its matches this season, swept the doubles contests and won five out of six singles contests.

The lone Highlander win came at first singles, where Ksenia Kuzmenko defeated Christine Ordway in straight sets, 7-6(4), 6-4.

NJIT, which will play the remainder of its schedule on the road, will first visit Villanova on March 24 at 2:30pm.
