TENAFLY, NJ - The NJIT men's tennis team hosted Saint Peter's at the Tenafly Racquet Club Saturday night. The Highlanders posted a 4-3 win, picking up its fifth win of the season.

NJIT claimed the doubles point wins from No. 1 and No. 2 doubles while Saint Peter's picked up a point at No. 3 doubles. In the singles competition both teams came out with three victories.

NJIT's transfer from Drew, Anthony Tunnero and Cosmin Chiujdea defeated Tony Wilkey and Chris Frakes at No. 1 doubles, 8-3 as Jonathan Lang and Steve Erickson recorded an identical score, 8-3, at No. 2 doubles.

Erickson picked up his sixth win of the season, improving to 6-1 overall at No. 1 singles. Lang, a sophomore came out on top 6-2, 6-1 at the No. 2 spot while Chiujdea posted his fifth win at No. 3 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 win.

The Highlanders will return to action on Wednesday, February 20 when they host Morgan State at Tenafly Racquet Club. The match will begin at 8:30pm.
