NEW ORLEANS – The NJIT women's track and field team has been honored by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic team for the 2011 season.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced 164 teams as all-Academic teams for the track and field seasons.

For the team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team Award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Championship and also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative GPA.
