PRINCETON, NJ – Christian Baumbach finished in the top 15 to lead the NJIT men's cross country team at the Princeton Invitational Saturday.
Baumbach, a sophomore, clocked in at 25:22.00, good for 13th place.
Princeton's Brian Leung and Donn Cabral finished first and second leading Princeton to a second-place finish, behind Texas.
Senior Umar Saeed placed 41st with a time of 25:55.40 and freshman Brian Mendez was 72nd at 26:25.60.
The final three Highlanders to cross the finish line were: Joe Ju (163rd; 28:54.60), Doug Colaizzo (168th; 29:14.60) and Chadwick Munroe (177th; 31:36.00).
NJIT will return to action on Saturday, October 31 when they host the Great West Conference Tournament at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx, NY.
